I make 2 projects for Altenew 2nd Anniversary. I challenge myself to make one layer card project. I hope you will enjoy it :)
For my first project, I'm using Watercolor Wonders for the florals and Wild Hibiscus for the sentiment. I'm using Spun Sugars, Shaded Lilac, Picked Raspberry and Vintage Photo Distress Ink for the large flowers. Tumbled Glass, Cracked Pistachio, Mermaid Lagoon and Vintage Photo Distress Ink for the small flowers. Shabby Shutters and Peeled Paint Distress Ink for the leaves. First I stamp it using Distress Ink and apply water with my brush. Before it's dry. I stamp the second layer and again apply some water with my brush. I repeat it for every layer. The sentiment is from Versafine Black.
For my second project, I'm using Wild Hibiscus for the florals and the sentiment. First I stamp the florals using Memento Dessert Ink and coloring it using Gouache. I make the outline from Guoache too because Guoache is more thicker than watercolor so the outline is overlaid after I apply it. Then I add some pastel pencil and smooth it with cotton swap to make some shadow. The background is from watercolor and I splash it with my brush. The sentiment is from Versafine Black.
