First I'm drawing 8 square with size 4 cm x 4 cm ( 4 at the top and 4 at the bottom) using pencil for masking. After that, I rotate the stamp while stamping and masking. The ink that I use is Aquamarine, Mint To Be Avery Alle Pigment Ink Pad and Memento Luxe Pear Tart and Angel Pink. I love the Avery Alle Pigment Ink Pad, specially the colors that I use for this card, so pretty!!!

My homework for Online Card Class Watercolor for Card Makers

Thursday, May 8, 2014

Hi Everyone, today I do my homework for Online Card Class Watercolor for Card Makers
I make cards based Day 1, the theme is Watercolor background.
Today I make cards using Hero Arts Stamps, I think it really fit with watercolor theme because Hero Arts is so artsy.

First card is inspired by a technique taught by Jennifer Rzasa. I make the leaves from gold heat embossing on the vellum and coloring using distress ink. I stamp the border using Distress Ink and add water with brush to give watercolor effect, then I add twinery for the tag.

I also entering this card for  Hero Arts Spring Sketch Challenge using Skecth #3.

Avery Elle Guest Designer Project 1

Wednesday, May 7, 2014

Hi Everyone! I'm so excited today because this is my first project as Avery Elle guest designer.
I'm making this card using Avery Elle brand new stamp called "Weather it". I had so much fun playing with this set, so here is my card:

First I stamped the outside of the umbrella line with Memento Tuxedo Black and the inside using Memento Dessert Sand. Then I colored it using Copic because Memento Dessert Sand is such a soft color, so it's like having no outline inside the umbrella.

For the background I used Distress Ink with blending tool. To add cloudy sky effect, after using blending tool, I added brush with water at it.

I want to make the umbrella look like waterproof so I covered it with transparant plastic, add adhesive tape on the back and cut it based on umbrella shape just in top and below.
And my card is finished :D

Thank you so much for visiting my blog, I can't wait to share with you my other Avery Elle projects.

Have a nice day!
